Classical elements focus of high impact concert

The Oklahoma State University Concert Chorale will join the OSU Chamber Choir for what the conductor calls a ”high impact” concert at the First Christian Church on Duck St. at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18.
The concert, titled “Mysterium: Earth, Water, Fire, Wind and Void,” will include musical movements centered on the five classical elements proposed in ancient Greece, according to the conductor, Dr. Z. Randall Stroupe, professor of music and director of choral and vocal studies at OSU.
The award-winning Concert Chorale was recently selected as one of only six university choirs from the United States invited to perform at the ACDA National Convention in Minneapolis next March – the largest ensemble organization in the world.
Tickets for the concert are $10 for general admission, and $7 for students and senior citizens.
