Janet Schmidly Day in Oklahoma Announced

During a meeting of the OSU Parents Association last week, OSU First Lady Janet Schmidly
was presented with a proclamation signed by Oklahoma Gov. Brad Henry proclaiming Sept.
17 as “Janet Schmidly Day” in the State of Oklahoma. Mrs. Schmidly received the proclamation
for her extensive work in developing and guiding the OSU Parents Association. On hand
for the presentation was her husband, David J. Schmidly, System CEO and OSU president.
