Orfeo Trio

The Orfeo Trio will play a chamber music recital featuring works by Beethoven, Brahms and Alyabyev at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, in the Concert Hall of the Seretean Center for the Performing Arts.

Bees has performed chamber music throughout her career, including performances with the Vermeer Quartet and the St. Petersburg String Quartet, as well as in recitals and with various instrumental ensembles at summer festivals. Cellist Leonid Shukaev is a founding member of the St. Petersburg String Quartet, the quartet-in-residence at Wichita State University. Violinist Evgeny Zvonnikov joined the St. Petersburg String Quartet in 2010 and was recently named associate concertmaster of the Wichita Symphony Orchestra.
