6. Will Lot 12 at 4th Ave and Hester be open to students, or will it be a United Way lot?

A. Lot 12 on the corner of 4th Ave and Hester will be open to students with a Green Zone Commuter permit as usual. The remainder will be used for United Way fund raising beginning at 3pm.

7. How and why did game day parking receive precedence over academic parking?

A. The plan is to provide parking for both academic and game day parking at the same time.

8. What efforts is the University going to make to notify students that they will not be able to park in commuter lots on game day?

A. Lot 6, 6B and 26 are the only commuter lots that will be completely closed for game day. The others will be closed after the majority of classes are completed. More faculty and staff spaces will be closed for the entire day than student spaces.

9. Why were students not notified of the game day parking situation when they purchased their parking permits?

A. Everyone that purchased a parking permit was notified on their temporary parking permit.
