Dr. Dustin Brown

The Oklahoma State University Center for Veterinary Health Sciences is proud to announce that alumnus Dr. Dustin Brown is one of 20 finalists for American’s Favorite Veterinarian.

Brown earned his DVM degree from Oklahoma State in 2005. He now owns and operates Animal Medical Center in Midwest City, Oklahoma. One of his clients nominated him saying, ‘Doc Brown is a caring vet; he knows his trade and he does a great job with his patients and their ‘parents.’ He has reasonable rates and is always available.’

In addition to seeing his regular patients, over the years Brown has been able to partner with rescue groups and foundations to help low income pet owners that need assistance when their pets need surgery.

“Oklahoma State takes great pride in the quality of our education program and our alumni, like Dr. Brown, who go into communities and make a positive impact,” said Dr. Jean Sander, dean of the veterinary center. “We really hope the public gets behind this Oklahoma veterinarian. As one of only 30 veterinary colleges in the United States, OSU is one of the smaller schools. Having Dr. Brown on this national platform shows that this program is top notch and so are our OSU Cowboy veterinarians.”
