Two Spears Students Named Outstanding Seniors

Claudio J. Ferrer and Hammons P. Hepner, two Spears School of Business students, have been named Outstanding Seniors by the Oklahoma State University Alumni Association.
The Outstanding Senior award recognizes seniors who excel through academic achievement; campus and community activities; academic, athletic or extracurricular honors or awards; scholarships; and work ethic during their time at OSU.
Ferrer, majoring in economics and finance, is from Enid, Okla. Hepner, earning degrees in agricultural economics and finance, is from Freedom, Okla.

“We are proud of Claudio and Hammons on all of their achievements and what they have done to make OSU a better place,” said Ken Eastman, dean of Spears Business. “Their dedication has certainly earned them this recognition and we congratulate them on being named a top senior.” The Spears duo are among 14 seniors chosen across campus to receive the award by the OSU Alumni Association Student Awards and Selection Committee, which met with the 47 Seniors of Significance selected in the fall of 2017, and reviewed their applications. A public banquet honoring the Outstanding Seniors will be held April 23 at 6 p.m. at the ConocoPhillips OSU Alumni Center in Stillwater.
