OSU presents Certificate Program for Emerging Energy Leaders

Monday, July 29, 2019

This fall, Oklahoma State University’s Spears School of Business is presenting the Certificate Program for Emerging Energy Leaders in Oklahoma City for three, two-day sessions. The program is geared toward high-potential managers with direct reports with less than five years of management experience.

The program will take place on Aug. 28-29, Sept. 25-26 and Oct. 23-24 from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. All sessions will be hosted by Ascent Resources.

Participants will develop a better understanding of themselves and learn how they are perceived. In challenging economic times, it is important for emerging leaders to understand financial statements and analysis, which is a key focus of the emerging leader’s session. The second portion of the program will focus on learning how to communicate and be a servant leader. The program will conclude with organizational development and integrating elements to help participants contribute to the success of their organization.

“We are excited to host the Oklahoma State University Emerging Energy Leaders Certificate Program,” said Jennifer Grigsby, executive vice president and chief financial officer of Ascent Resources. “Participants will learn from an experienced and diverse OSU faculty line-up. We believe attending the certificate series will be beneficial to anyone with the goal of growing in their professional role and becoming a leader in the energy sector.”

Registration is $2,550 per person and includes one registration to the OSU Emerging Energy Leaders Certificate Program Series and two webinars. If three or more register from the same company, cost is $2,350 per person. Registration includes case studies, webinars, instruction, materials, refreshments and lunch each day.
