Spears students honored as top 2018 freshmen

The Oklahoma State University chapter of the Mortar Board honor society has named students to its annual lists of Top 10 Freshmen Men and Top 10 Freshmen Women for the 2018 freshman class. Of those 20 students, five were named from the Spears School of Business.
“All of us at Spears congratulate our students selected for this impressive recognition,” said Ken Eastman, dean of Spears Business. “We are proud of what they have accomplished in their brief OSU careers and are excited to see what they do in the future.”
Students selected for the honor are chosen based on scholarship, outstanding leadership and community service. Students apply in their sophomore year based on achievement during their freshman year. The Top 10 men and women will be recognized Nov. 2 during halftime of the OSU football game at Boone Pickens Stadium.
Spears students among the Top 10 Freshmen Men:
- Michael Albright, Accounting and Finance
- Kase Anderson, Finance and Business Management
- Blaze McMellian, Accounting and Finance
- Caden Riggins, Accounting
Spears students among the Top 10 Freshmen Women:
- Lauren Bush, International Business and Entrepreneurship
