Stephen Dubner to speak at the first OSU Future of Work Summit

Stephen Dubner, bestselling author and co-author of “Freakonomics,” will be the keynote speaker at the inaugural OSU Future of Work Summit Aug. 31-Sept. 1 at the Oklahoma City Convention Center.

Dubner is an award-winning author, TV personality, and radio and podcast host. He has been recognized for his insightful and thought-provoking commentary on a range of topics related to economics, business and society.

At the OSU Future of Work Summit, Dubner will share his perspectives on the rapidly changing landscape of work and the implications for workers, employers and society. This is a rare opportunity to hear from one of the most influential voices in modern economics and to gain insights that will help business leaders navigate the future of work.

“I look forward to speaking at the Future of Work Summit about the impact of technology, factors affecting the world of work, disruption in the workplace, understanding economics and staying competitive in an industry in constant flux,” Dubner said.

This multi-day conference is designed for executives, human resource professionals and workforce development professionals and will feature a variety of speakers and thought leaders who will engage attendees in interactive sessions.  

Day one of the Summit will feature three main topic tracks, allowing attendees to dive deeper into these featured tracks: 1) emerging technology and robotic process automation; 2) social impact: do good while doing well; 3) culture and engagement. The three tracks will feature interactive breakout sessions. Topics covered within the breakout sessions will explore the impact of remote work, how to leverage technology to enhance productivity, how to cultivate a flexible, adaptable workforce and more!

Day two of the Summit will feature a range of sessions as well as author, founder and former CEO of several successful startup companies, Scott Klososky. Scott is founding partner at Future Point of View and will be talking on Thriving in the Digital Transformation: Leading Through Disruption.
