The Riata Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, in conjunction with the Oklahoma State University Foundation, honored the top 73 OSU owned-or-led businesses at the fourth annual Cowboy100 Honoree Gala on March 28.
The event celebrated the contribution of entrepreneurial-minded OSU graduates from across the university and their positive influence on the university community.
"The 2025 Cowboy100 showcased another exceptional group of individuals and businesses, highlighting the remarkable talent and innovation within our OSU community,” said Chad Mills, director of the Riata Center. “The energy in the room was palpable, reflecting the passion and dedication of our 2025 honorees. As we look to the future, we are excited to see how the Cowboy100 program will continue to foster growth and success, driving forward the entrepreneurial spirit that defines us."
Two unique awards were presented at the gala. The Cowboy100 award is based on business growth over a three-year span, from 2021-23. The Blazing10 award recognized top-line revenue. Independent accounting partner J Taylor calculated both important measures of success for each business.
PigTracks, an innovative pipeline systems management firm led by Mitchell Sims (’08), took home top honors in the Cowboy100. The Blazing 10 top prize went to Twin Eagle, a natural gas marketing and logistics firm led by Jeremy Davis (’96), Griff Jones (’91) and Chuck Watson (’72).
Nominations for the 2026 Cowboy100 are expected to open in August. Click here to check the criteria to see if your business qualifies.
The Riata Center is the go-to hub for innovation and entrepreneurship at OSU. Located inside the Spears School of Business, the Riata Center is the home to cutting-edge programs and resources designed to elevate and inspire the next generation of Cowboy innovators and trailblazers.
The center would like to thank the Cowboy100 sponsors for making this celebration possible.
