Oklahoma State University’s Spears School of Business is honoring Lucas Elwell, Aaron Sizemore and Brittany Sizemore as Outstanding Young Alumni.
These graduates will be recognized during the Spears Business Hall of Fame banquet on Oct. 10 at the ConocoPhillips OSU Alumni Center. Spears Business will soon announce the 2025 Hall of Fame inductees.
Since 2001, Outstanding Young Alumni awards have distinguished recent Spears Business graduates who provide significant service and achievement early in their professional careers. Nominees must be 40 or younger during the year the award is presented.
“It is a pleasure to honor three outstanding individuals in Lucas Elwell, Aaron Sizemore and Brittany Sizemore,” said Dr. Jim Payne, Spears Business dean. “We look forward to seeing what they will continue to accomplish in their careers.”
Lucas Elwell, ’09, ’10
Elwell is vice president of credit risk management at MidFirst Bank in Oklahoma City.
His orange blood runs deep as the product of two OSU alumni. Elwell’s father graduated with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree, and his mother has a master’s in education.
A Mustang High School graduate, Elwell obtained two Spears Business bachelor’s degrees in 2009 as a dual major in finance and international business. His campus involvement included the President’s Leadership Council, Freshman Representative Council, Business Student Council and Phi Gamma Delta fraternity.
Elwell earned his OSU MBA in 2010. He began his career with ExxonMobil in Houston, serving in various financial and leadership roles over seven years. In 2017, he accepted a position at MidFirst Bank.
Elwell has endowed two OSU scholarships, including one for Spears Business students. He remains active in Spears Business as an annual MBA case competition judge and participates in recruiting and networking events. He served on the Spears Business Mentoring Advisory Committee for eight years and was a Dean’s Executive Council member for five years.
His wife, Meghan Dunn Elwell, is an OSU alumna. They live in Edmond, Oklahoma, with their son, Grayson, and daughter, Remington.
Aaron Sizemore, ’08
Aaron and Brittany Sizemore have been married since 2013. They met at OSU.
Aaron is the managing director and head of national energy finance at East West Bank in Dallas.
His father, also an OSU graduate, was a petroleum engineer, which meant the family often relocated to various industry-centric locations before settling in Tulsa. Aaron, a Jenks High School graduate, majored in finance at OSU and joined the Epsilon Epsilon Chapter of Sigma Nu fraternity.
Upon graduation in 2008, Aaron and Brittany relocated to Dallas to begin their professional careers. Aaron has worked at East West Bank since 2015. In 2022, D Magazine named him a finalist for Energy Finance Leader of the Year.
Aaron and Brittany are proud sponsors of Brighter Orange of North Texas, an annual event to raise scholarship funds for North Texans attending OSU. Aaron is also a board member of the Folds of Honor North Texas chapter, a nonprofit providing scholarships to spouses and children of America’s fallen or disabled service members and first responders.
Brittany Sizemore, ’08
Brittany Sizemore is ISN’s vice president of marketing and strategic business development. Before her current position, she had held several leadership roles, most recently as vice president of ISN’s Manufacturing Business Development teams.
In 2004, Brittany began pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at OSU, where she became a proud member of the Beta Chapter of Pi Beta Phi sorority. She graduated from OSU in 2008.
Since joining ISN in 2008, Brittany’s experience has included leading teams focused on contractor development and contractor management for clients in the oil and gas, food and beverage, utilities and public sector industries. She lived abroad and worked at ISN’s London office from 2011-12.
Brittany serves on the Host Committee for the Folds of Honor North Texas chapter. She also supports her children’s school through active positions on the Hyer Elementary Parent Teacher Association Board and auction committee.
