
School of Accounting will honor 4 alumni at 2026 Wilton T. Anderson Hall of Fame Banquet

Oklahoma State University’s School of Accounting will celebrate four outstanding alumni during the 2026 Wilton T. Anderson Hall of Fame and Awards Banquet on March 5 at the ConocoPhillips OSU Alumni Center.
Donna Bode, Dr. Royce D. Burnett and Spencer Haines will be inducted into the Wilton T. Anderson Hall of Fame as Distinguished Alumni, while Nathan Squiers will receive the Early Career Rising Star award.
“We're excited to recognize this fantastic group of School of Accounting alumni, who have shown exceptional excellence in their careers, service to the SOA, and contributions to the accounting profession and their communities,” said Dr. Angela Spencer, head of the School of Accounting. “These standout graduates embody our commitment to developing top talent and future leaders. Their successes serve as examples to inspire our current students, showing them the incredible impact and success that dedication to excellence in accounting can bring.”
Bode has built an accomplished 34-year career in corporate taxation. She joined ConocoPhillips in 2014 and currently serves as the organization’s tax administration officer. Prior to this role, she led the company’s State Income Tax function. Donna’s career also includes leadership positions as vice president of tax research, planning & special projects at BOK Financial and income tax manager at CITGO Petroleum. She began her career in public accounting with the Tulsa office of Ernst & Young.
A committed supporter of OSU, Bode is a proud advocate of the ConocoPhillips ACE Lab at the Spears School of Business, where the program provides accounting instruction to all accounting students. She contributes to talent and leadership development within ConocoPhillips as a member of both the Finance Talent Management Team and the Bartlesville Leadership Team. Donna previously served as the OSU Business School Partner for ConocoPhillips.
Bode earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting and is a certified public accountant in Oklahoma. A native of Okarche, Oklahoma, she and her which four siblings all attended OSU.
Burnett is the dean of the Earl G. Graves School of Business and Management at Morgan State University. He transitioned to academia after over 17 years of experience in public accounting and corporate finance. Burnett’s career includes roles at two Big Four firms and two Fortune 500 companies, as well as establishing a successful accounting practice.
In 2003, Burnett earned his Ph.D. in accounting from OSU. He has since held key academic and administrative leadership positions at Old Dominion University, Southern Illinois University and the University of Miami. In these roles, he championed curriculum development, fundraising and accreditation.
Burnett’s research focuses on cost management, sustainability and public sector accountability, and he has published extensively in top-tier journals. He is known for building transformative educational experiences and fostering community and industry partnerships.
Haines is executive vice president and chief financial officer of the Love’s Family of Companies, where he plays a central role in guiding the financial direction of one of the nation’s largest privately held companies. In his role, Haines leads the company’s accounting, tax, corporate finance, treasury, factoring, private equity, retail supply, corporate development and family office functions.
Prior to joining Love’s in August 2019, Haines spent 16 years at Oklahoma-based law firm McAfee & Taft, where he served as a shareholder. Haines began his career at Arthur Andersen, where he worked as a senior accountant and earned his certified public accountant designation.
A proud OSU alumnus, Haines holds a bachelor's degree in accounting. He serves on the OSU Foundation Board of Trustees, the School of Accounting Alumni Board and the Eastin Center for Career Readiness Advisory Board.
Haines earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Oklahoma. He has long been active in the Oklahoma City community, serving on the United Way of Central Oklahoma Board and committees, the Wes Welker Foundation Board, and as a graduate of Leadership Oklahoma City.
Squiers is Chief Executive Officer of Glass Enterprises, an alligator farm based in southwest Georgia that supplies premium materials to the luxury fashion industry.
Squiers earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from OSU, graduating in 2016 and 2017, respectively. He became a certified public accountant in 2019 and holds CPA licenses in both Texas and Georgia.
He began his career at KPMG LLP, where he worked in audit, financial due diligence and accounting advisory services. Squiers later joined PepsiCo, Inc. as a senior accountant in the company’s shared services organization, supporting corporate financial reporting and accounting.
In 2020, Squiers joined Glass Enterprises following its partnership with Argonaut Private Equity, initially serving as controller and chief financial officer. He was elected chief executive officer in the summer of 2022.
In 2022, Squiers and his wife, Samantha, established the Squiers Family Scholarship at OSU and remain committed to investing in and supporting future generations of OSU students.
