First Libyan Students in United States Attending OSU

Ahmad Olwane, OSU student from Libya, reads a statement to OSU System CEO and President David Schmidly, while his fellow Libyan students watch. Olwane and six other students are the first Libyan students to be admitted to an American university in 26 years.

OSU System CEO and President David Schmidly welcomed the seven Libyan students to Oklahoma State University. These students are the first Libyans to be admitted to an American university in 26 years.
