OSU-Oklahoma City hires new VP of Business and Industry

Oklahoma State University-Oklahoma City recently hired Dr. Mac McCrory as vice president of Business and Industry Relations. 

The position was added to the campus administration to expand the institution’s leadership role in business and industry training and economic development.

McCrory comes to OSU-OKC from the OSU-Stillwater campus, where he served as the director of the Seretean Wellness Center. Under his leadership, the center grew from a staff of six full-time and three graduate students to 21 full-time staff members, six graduate/intern students, and 50 part-time student employees. It also has 17 programs with an annual budget of $1.5 million and seven grants/contracts with a total yearly budget of $2.5 million.

McCrory received his Doctor of Education in Health Science from OSU in 1980, where he graduated with honors and is a member of Phi Kappa Phi Honorary Scholastic Fraternity.

His responsibilities at OSU-OKC will include overseeing the campus’s economic development strategic plan, working with academic programs’ business and industry advisory boards, designing and implementing cutting-edge training programs, and establishing a business and industry collaboration center.
