(October 13, 2008 Stillwater, OK) - Fifty-one freshmen at Oklahoma State University
in Stillwater have been selected to serve this academic year on the Freshman Representative
Council.
This council is the freshman branch of the OSU Student Government Association. More
than 200 freshmen applied for the council, but only 51 members were selected through
an application and interview process.
Members of FRC learn about all aspects of student government, sponsor and participate
in community service projects, and develop various student-oriented activities.
“The Freshman Representative Council plays a vital role within the Student Government
Association by voicing concerns pertaining to the freshman class as well as contributing
