(October 17, 2008 Stillwater, OK) - Alum Travis Brorsen and the "Greatest American
Dog", Presley, returned to the OSU campus for Homecoming 2008. Brorsen and Presley
took the top prize in September on the CBS reality series. Brorsen, a Perry native
and his 16-month old boxer were the underdog winners of the ten week competition designed
to develop a bond between owner and dog. They beat out a professional dog trainer
and a doggy day care owner and their pooches in the finals to take the title. Brorsen
graduated from OSU in 2001 with a degree in agricultural communications/public relations
(with a minor in theatre).
