OSU Board Approves Personnel Actions

(MIAMI, Okla., Oct. 23, 2009) -- The Oklahoma State University/A&M Board of Regents
approved several personnel actions during its Oct. 23 meeting at Northeastern Oklahoma
A&M College in Miami.
APPOINTMENTS: Jennifer A. Hernandez-Gifford, assistant professor, animal science;
Tracy M. Quan, assistant professor, geology; and Mackenzie E. Wilfong, director, affirmative
action.
CHANGES: Krishnan R. Vaidyanathan, title change from research professor to professor,
general engineering; Whitney A. Brosi, assistant professor, human development and
family science, resigned as Gerontology Institute director.
SABBATICALS: Glenn Muske, design, housing and merchandising, a 100 percent sabbatical
to research couples in business together—copreneurs—and analyze the accuracy of long-held
beliefs regarding copreneurs, from Jan. 1 to June 20, 2011; Heather K. Moberly, library,
100 percent sabbatical to develop an animal health/animal science subject presence
for the Agriculture Network Information Center (agNIC), from Jan. 1 to June 30, 2010.
For OSU-Tulsa, a title change was approved for Gary Trennepohl, from president, professor
and President’s Council Endowed Chair, to Regents Service Professor and Endowed Chair,
finance.
For OSU-Oklahoma City, the appointment of Bruce J. Yancey, assistant professor of
architecture and construction technologies, was approved.
For the OSU Center for Health Sciences, the appointment of Jeffrey J. LeBoeuf as director
of academic affairs, was approved.
