Marketing Communications Guru to Lecture at OSU

 (April 2, 2010, STILLWATER, Okla.) – Don Schultz, the father of integrated marketing
                     communications, will deliver a lecture titled “Marketing Communications in a Push
                     and Pull Market” on April 7 at Oklahoma State University
 
 The lecture begins at 4:30 p.m. in Room 035 at Murray Hall and is free and open to
                     the public.
 
 The Chicago resident has authored or co-authored more than 10 books including Integrated
                     Marketing Communications and Communicating Globally. In 1998, he was named one of
                     the “80 Most Influential People in Sales and Marketing in the World” by Sales and
                     Marketing Management Magazine.
 
 “The time spent hearing Dr. Schultz lecture is very well worth it for students, faculty
                     and professionals,” said OSU Professor Jami Fullerton, the Peggy Layman Welch Chair
                     in Journalism. “Dr. Schultz is very much in touch with the industry and international
                     consumer media trends.”
 
 Schultz is a professor emeritus at Medill at Northwestern University. Prior to his
                     academic career, Schultz worked for 15 years in the advertising industry. He is president
                     of Agora Inc., which develops integrated marketing communication programs.
 
 Schultz earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration at the University of
                     Oklahoma, and both a master’s and doctorate from Michigan State University.
 
 The lecture is part of the Social Science Seminar Series in the College of Arts &
