OSU offers new eTranscript delivery service

OSU students and alumni can now order official electronic transcripts (eTranscripts) online and have them delivered electronically to any recipient in the world with an email address. Through a partnership with Avow Systems, Inc., eTranscripts are distributed as secure, certified PDF files that notify the recipient if the official document has been altered in any way. Typical eTranscript delivery will occur within a couple of hours, provided the student has no transcript holds and the order is placed when the OSU student information system is not closed for overnight maintenance or other down periods, such as holidays. Students and alumni can track their orders online and will receive confirmation messages when their transcripts have been delivered and downloaded by recipients.

The cost for expedited eTranscript delivery is $10 per recipient. There is no change in the standard paper transcript option. Paper transcripts may be picked up in person in the Registrar’s Office (or Enrollment Services Office on the Tulsa campus) or delivered by mail. There is no per-transcript fee for paper transcripts, because this cost is covered by the academic records maintenance fee. The cost for expedited shipping of paper transcripts is $30.

Currently, eTranscripts are available only for students who have attended OSU Stillwater or OSU Tulsa since Fall 1999. Future plans are to extend the service to students who attended prior to Fall 1999.
