OSU researchers co-author book

Oxford University Press has published a book, co-authored by OSU researchers Jayson Lusk and Bailey Norwood, titled “Compassion, by the Pound” on the economics of farm animal welfare. Using data from a variety of practical sources, the authors show how the economic approach to animal welfare raises new questions and ethical conundrums, as well as providing unique and counter-intuitive results.
