Christmas Parade of Lights canceled for Dec. 5 

Stillwater Christmas Parade of Lights committee has decided to cancel the 2013 Stillwater Christmas Parade of Lights, which was scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 5.

The committee states: “We are extremely disappointed that the weather in Stillwater caused this change, but the health and safety of those attending and working at these outdoor events must come before any celebrations. We are deeply grateful for the enthusiasm of so many people who have given so much to make this parade a success. We look forward to a great 2014 Stillwater Christmas Parade of Lights.”

Please note:  The Stillwater Christmas Parade of Lights will not be rescheduled; however, floats that were to participate in the parade are invited to display their floats on Dec. 14 at the parking lot on the southeast corner of 9th Avenue and Lewis Street between 10 am and noon.
