Oklahoma State University Center for Veterinary Health Sciences kicks off its Pet
Care Seminar series on Tuesday, Sept. 3, at 7 p.m. in McElroy Hall Auditorium. Join
veterinarian Dr. Meg Gross as she presents “How Can I tell if it hurts: Detecting
Pain in Your Pet.”
Dr. Gross will share information on the definitions of pain, why it is difficult to
detect, possible causes and more. A clinical associate professor specializing in
anesthesiology at the veterinary center’s Veterinary Medical Hospital, Dr. Gross earned
her DVM degree from Oklahoma State University and is a diplomate in the American College
of Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia.
McElroy Hall is located at the corner of McFarland and West Farm Road. Complimentary
parking in Lot 78 (turn south off Hall of Fame on McFarlane Road) and light refreshments
