OSU offers Cancer in Pets Seminar

The Oklahoma State University Center for Veterinary Health Sciences will host a seminar
on pets and cancer on Tuesday, Nov. 5. Open to the public at no charge, veterinarian
Dr. J. T. Walker will present “Cancer Therapy Options in Pets” at 7 p.m. in McElroy
Hall auditorium located at the corner of McFarland and West Farm Road on the OSU Stillwater
campus.
Dr. Walker will share with attendees information about diagnosis and treatment options
for common types of cancer in dogs and cats.
Originally from Newcastle, Okla., Walker earned his DVM degree from OSU’s Center for
Veterinary Health Sciences. He is currently a resident of small animal surgery at
the veterinary center’s Veterinary Medical Hospital.
