Graduate Fellowships and Travel Awards in Toxicology at OSU
The Interdisciplinary Toxicology Program (ITP, http://toxicology.okstate.edu/) is accepting applications for a number of fellowships for either MS or PhD students having research projects focused on some aspect of toxicology. The fellowships include stipend enhancements of $2,500/year for PhD students and $1,500/year for MS students. Students can be from any degree-granting graduate program at OSU. Requirements include a Certificate in Interdisciplinary Toxicology or current enrollment in the Certificate program. Other requirements include active participation in ITP activities (e.g., sponsored seminars) and membership in a newly-formed toxicology graduate student association. Applications should include 1) a cover letter indicating the student’s interest in interdisciplinary toxicology, 2) evidence of either awarding of the Certificate or current enrollment in the Certificate Program, 3) a brief description of the student’s research program, and 4) a letter of support from the student’s major advisor. Fellowships will be competitively awarded on an annual basis, with continuation based on adequate progress . Two annual travel awards of $1,000 are also available to participating students to aid in the presentation of scholarly work. For more information, contact Michelle Kuehn (michelle.kuehn@okstate.edu).
