Research or teach abroad in the Fulbright program
Sign up now for the Fulbright U.S. Student Program, which annually awards grants to 1,500 college graduates to travel abroad in more than 150 countries for research or teaching English.
If you’re interested in spending a year abroad, and nearing graduation or graduated in the last several years, you can apply on-campus from May 1 – Sept. 24 for travel during the 2015‐2016 school year. Only online registration is available afterwards for a short time.
Applicants for the research grants design their own projects and typically work with advisers at a foreign university. English teaching assistants work in a school overseas, to supplement local English language instruction, and provide a native‐speaker presence in classrooms.
The on‐campus application process closes Sept. 24, and the online application closes Oct.14. For more information, contact Dr. Steve Hallgren at 405-‐744-‐6805 or steve.hallgren@okstate.edu.
