O'Colly selling OSU Homecoming Yearbooks

Tuesday, October 20, 2015

Endless nights of pomping. Constructing house decs till the break of dawn. Welding. Cheering. Making memories. However you spend the weeks leading up to Homecoming, the OSU Homecoming Yearbook staff will be there to document each and every memory made during “America’s Greatest Homecoming Celebration.”

The O’Colly’s OSU Homecoming Yearbook will display all of the hard work that goes into making homecoming unique and special to all of the tens of thousands of people who drive miles to come back to their alma mater. The O’Colly has compiled a team of photographers and writers to record every homecoming festivity from Football Frenzy to Walkaround to the game itself.

The yearbook is available to pre-order on loyalandtrue.org for just $20.

As a part of the yearbook, each Greek pairing will have a chapter of their own. The chapters will include a full 10-page spread of their final dec at Walkaround, a feature on the members in each fraternity and sorority within the Greek pairing and pictures of their dec’s progress during the fall semester.

Because Greek life is the single biggest component in the success of OSU’s Homecoming, the O’Colly will award the Greek pairing who pre-orders the most yearbooks with the cover of the book and $250 to go toward the philanthropy of their choice.

“We are hoping this yearbook will prove to be a success among the OSU students and the community-at-large,” said Ryan Parker, O’Colly homecoming editor. “The goal is to make the O’Colly Homecoming Yearbook a reoccurring tradition of America’s Greatest Homecoming Celebration.”

Once this year’s homecoming has come to an end, the O’Colly staff will work around the clock to perfect the final product. The yearbooks will then be delivered to everyone who pre-ordered a copy.
