OSU students awarded $166,500 in Wentz research grants

Thanks to the generosity of the Lew Wentz Foundation, 37 OSU undergraduates representing five of the six colleges on the Stillwater campus have been named Wentz Research Scholars and will receive a total of $166,500 in financial aid for the 2019-2020 academic year.
Each Wentz Research Scholar will receive $4,500 to conduct an original research project under the guidance of an OSU faculty member during the 2019-2020 academic year. The students submitted research proposals that underwent a rigorous blind review process by the 20-member Wentz Research Selection Committee earlier this spring. They will present the results of their projects at the annual Wentz Research Scholars Symposium next April.
The Henry Bellmon Office of Scholar Development and Undergraduate Research coordinates the competitive selection process for these awards.
