OSU makes gains in US News and World Report Best Graduate Schools rankings

Several Oklahoma State University degree programs rose in the annual U.S. News and World Report Best Graduate Schools rankings with the Spears School of Business seeing the biggest move with its part-time MBA program going up nearly 40 spots.

The College of Education and Human Sciences’ education graduate program moved up 14 spots to No. 91, tying with the University of Oklahoma, Iowa State University and Texas Tech University. For more information on education graduate programs, visit the CEH site at https://okla.st/3sDJ1pk

The Spears School of Business’ part-time MBA program moved to No. 52 in the 2022 rankings of 273 colleges and universities surveyed after being ranked No. 89 last year. OSU’s engineering programs in the College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology were well-represented. Ranked as the No. 108 overall program, engineering moved up in a slew of categories from last year.

In aerospace, OSU came in at No. 51, good for a gain of five spots from last year. In agricultural engineering, OSU was highly regarded with a stable No. 18 ranking. 

OSU maintained its spot at No. 97 in computer engineering and No. 31 in industrial engineering, while environmental engineering moved up a couple of spots from No. 72 to 70. The material engineering program saw a rise of six spots to No. 92 — best in the state. Mechanical engineering rose three spots to No. 91. The OSU Center for Health Sciences earned a No. 10 ranking in rural care and the No. 7 spot in health professional shortage areas.
