President Shrum launches Living the Code Series

Oklahoma State University President Kayse Shrum recently launched a brand new video series where she showcases the stories of the Cowboy family who embody the Cowboy Code. 

"We're excited about this video series highlighting how students, faculty, staff, alumni and other members of the Cowboy family live the code in their daily lives. The Cowboy Code isn't just something we talk about. It’s a foundation for what it means to be an OSU Cowboy," Dr. Shrum said. 

The pilot episode showcases Tashia Cheves, who became the first person in her family to attend college when she enrolled at OSU. Cheves is now the manager of student retention at the Spears School of Business where she creates programs to help students succeed in college.

The Cowboy Culture inspires servant-leaders who will impact communities and improve society as part of the land-grant mission. As Dr. Shrum continues to highlight the determined and resilient members of the Cowboy family, please share the names of those who know who also are committed to the Cowboy Code.
