Oklahoma State University’s four Greek councils have earned national recognition for their achievements and demonstrated excellence at the recent Association for Fraternal Leadership and Values West Conference.
OSU's Multicultural Greek Council garnered national recognition with the MGC Excellence Award, highlighting them as one of only two top-tier organizations nationwide to achieve this distinction. Similarly, the OSU National Pan-Hellenic Council was awarded the Robert Page Award, a recognition shared by only one other NPHC body in the nation.
Further showing their commitment to student success, the OSU Greek councils earned multiple Three-Star Level Winner distinctions in the following recognized areas:
- Accountability – The ability to follow through, manage responsibly and expect high
standards from the community it governs.
- Interfraternity Council, Multicultural Greek Council
- Collaboration – The ability to work successfully among the council, chapters, staff
and larger community.
- Multicultural Greek Council, National Pan-Hellenic Council
- Education – The ability to educate all council members about necessary, relevant and
progressive topics:
- Interfraternity Council, Multicultural Greek Council, Panhellenic Council
- Innovation – The ability to go beyond what has been created or achieved before; critical
and creative thinking that leads to cutting-edge programs and initiatives.
- Multicultural Greek Council, National Pan-Hellenic Council
The Panhellenic Council was also recognized for their communication efforts with the Multi-Page Publication award for their “State Greek" Recruitment Booklet.
“These achievements highlight the dedication of OSU’s Greek councils to upholding the values central to what it means to be an OSU Cowboy,” said Casey Domnick, assistant director of fraternity and sorority affairs. “Their national success reflects their commitment to fostering a thriving and impactful Greek life experience for students.”
