Oklahoma State University’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute offers unique ways for adults aged 50 or older to continue their education for the fun of learning.

"OSU’s OLLI program is for lifelong learners," said Dr. Gina Peek, associate dean for extension and engagement. "The courses spark curiosity, build community and offer opportunities for personal growth."

Through the program, participants can access courses, travel and social activities geared toward enriching their quality of life. Covering history, health and so much more; there is sure to be something that catches your interest.

Courses are offered across Oklahoma in Stillwater, Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Bartlesville, and online for those who can’t attend in person. For the summer session, tours in each location and a day trip to Ponca City are scheduled.

Summer course enrollment will open on April 23. Don’t miss the opportunity to enroll before the courses become full.

A sampling of this summer’s courses includes:

  • The World of Birthstones: History, Mining and Care
  • Civic Spotlight: Local Decision Makers
  • Oklahoma's Wild West History
  • Life, Loss and Laughter
  • Adaptive Tech for Seniors
  • Comedy Movies
  • Botany: The Science of Plants

The membership year runs from July 1 to June 30, granting participants access to all course sessions. Participants can join OLLI any time throughout the year, but now is the perfect time to start the new membership year off right with the summer session.

Premium annual members receive full access to all the courses offered in Stillwater, Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Bartlesville and online for $200. For a more selective experience, a la carte memberships are available for $40 plus individual course fees.
