Monday, March 11, 2019

On March 7, Raman Singh, Associate Dean in the College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology at Oklahoma State University-Tulsa, presented testimony to the United States Congress House Energy Sub-committee on the continued safe and sustainable development of oil and gas resources and the energy–water nexus. Among other things, he highlighted his ongoing research, OSU’s efforts in leading a multi-university consortium, and support by the Oklahoma Center for the Advancement of Science and Technology (OCAST).

Singh’s presentation is part of an effort that continues to build from the OCAST Oklahoma Applied Research Support project that has funded his research on the failure of shale. Two members of Congress were present including the ranking member of the committee.
