OSU Mortar Board names 7 CEAT students in top 20 Freshmen men and women for 2024

The Oklahoma State University chapter of the Mortar Board honor society recently named seven College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology students to its annual list of Top 20 Freshmen men and women for the 2023-24 class.
“The Top 20 Men and the Top 20 Women were selected after grading 154 student applications,” said Gunar Aune, Mortar Board Top 10 coordinator. “These individuals completed a series of interviews to help select the Top 10 Men and the Top 10 Women. The Mortar Board was extremely impressed with the strong pool of candidates this year and is proud of all of the incredible student leaders who we were able to work with throughout the process.”
Of the top 20, three CEAT students were selected as OSU’s top 10 Freshmen men and women including Alec Anderson, Stinson Burns and Luke Diener.
Students selected for the honor are chosen based on scholarship, outstanding leadership and community service. They have demonstrated exceptional dedication to fostering a positive community and have set a great example for their peers. Students apply in their sophomore year based on achievements during their first year in college.

Luke Diener – Computer Engineering – Tulsa *
Brad Harris – Mechanical Engineering – Wichita, Kansas
Aden Nowell – Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering: Pre-Law – Tulsa
Jack Pipkin – Biosystems Engineering – Spearman, Texas
Rylee Wyatt – Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering – Elk City, Oklahoma
