Express It! Grab and Go opens: New convenience store concept opens on OSU campus
Thu, March 07, 2013
Oklahoma State University’s new Express It! convenience store just north of campus in Cowboy Mall is ready for a Grand Opening celebration March 11-15. OSU purchased the former Aggie Stop at the end of 2012 and after a complete makeover, the store gleams in white, lime green and orange.
Daily specials, such as free coffee with a muffin purchase, will run the entire Grand Opening week. Please visit the University Dining Services website at http://dining.okstate.edu for a list of all the specials. Daily entries will be accepted in a drawing for an Amazon Kindle, courtesy of Pepsi. The random drawing will take place on
March 25. No purchase is necessary.
Located at Hall of Fame and Monroe, Express It! is particularly attractive to those living in OSU housing north of Hall of Fame, off-campus students using the Transportation Terminal, as well as non-student Stillwater residents. The store features several designated parking spaces so customers can get in and out quickly, even at the busiest times of day.
The store is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m, and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Express It! offers everyone’s favorite convenience store products, plus freshly-made grab and go items like Chicken Caesar Salad Wraps and Chef Salad with Ham and Turkey. There’s also a hot breakfast available every morning.
UDS signature product line Made In Oklahoma is featured at the store. Terry Baker, Director of Dining Services said, “Made In Oklahoma products are manufactured in our great state and encourage people to support their local economy.” Some Made In Oklahoma products that can be found at Express It! include Ralph’s beef jerky, Henderson coffee, and Ivy Acres cage-free eggs.
Another signature product line available at the new store is Choose Orange. With many students looking for ways to eat healthier, UDS created the Choose Orange program to designate products that are healthy choices that meet the U.S. Dietary Guidelines. Items that qualify for the Choose Orange seal include fruits, vegetables, calcium-rich foods, whole grains, and lean proteins.
Some Choose Orange products that are offered at Express It! are Go Lean Kashi granola, Clif bars, Food Should Taste Good chips, and Bare Fruit organic dried fruit.
