The marketing and communications team at OSU Center for Health Sciences took home 14 awards — a record for the institution — for its work in graphic design, photography, social media, web design and writing at the Oklahoma Colleges Public Relations Association Awards Banquet held July 14 in Tulsa.

The 2025 OCPRA awards competition received 607 entries in 56 categories from 23 colleges and universities across Oklahoma.

Monica Collington, assistant vice president for External Affairs and Strategic Communications, said standards for excellence are extremely high at OSU-CHS, and the marketing and communications efforts reflect that brand identity.

“I’m so proud of our talented team who bring their best every day – from graphic design and writing to photography and video, digital marketing, social content and web development. These disciplines work in concert to support our mission, attract students, faculty and staff, and lead throughout northeastern Oklahoma. Getting recognized for great work is the icing on the cake," Collington said.

The OSU-CHS marketing and communications team, led by Managing Director Melani Hamilton, includes Matt Barnard, photographer/videographer; Amanda Bullock, marketing and design coordinator; Elisabeth England, web coordinator; Ben Harper, digital and web specialist; James Macleod, digital and social media coordinator; Sara Plummer, senior communications coordinator; Kayley Spielbusch, digital communications specialist; Kelly Stimson, senior graphic designer; and Deanne Vick, assistant director of marketing OSU Medicine clinics.
