Troutman appointed associate vice president of enrollment & student services

Oklahoma State University-Oklahoma City has announced that Dr. Nakia Troutman has been promoted to associate vice president of Enrollment Management & Student Services.

Troutman, a dynamic and dedicated leader, brings 21 years of extensive experience in higher education and student services to her new position. With a proven track record of driving student success, she is poised to make a significant impact on the institution's enrollment strategies and student support systems.

In this new role, Troutman will oversee critical areas, including recruitment, admissions, financial aid, academic advising, student life, access and community impact as well as TRIO departments, including Upward Bound and SOAR programs. Her leadership will be essential in guiding the development of innovative strategies to attract and retain a diverse student body. Troutman’s vision includes enhancing student experiences from the moment they express interest in the institution, through their academic journey, and beyond graduation.

A key focus of Troutman’s goals is to streamline the enrollment process, making it more accessible and transparent for prospective students. She plans to implement data-driven approaches to better understand enrollment trends and develop targeted outreach programs for underrepresented groups.
