Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology will host its Summer 2025 Commencement ceremonies on Thursday, Aug. 21, honoring graduates from across the university’s four schools. The ceremonies will take place at Covelle Hall on the OSUIT campus in Okmulgee, with two separate sessions:

  • 10 a.m. – Schools of Transportation & Heavy Equipment and Creative & Information Technologies
  • 2 p.m. – Schools of Arts, Sciences & Health and Engineering & Construction Technologies

Doors open at 8:45 a.m. for the morning ceremony and at 12:45 p.m. for the afternoon. No tickets are required, and seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The keynote address will be delivered by Col. Kevin Roland, whose distinguished military career exemplifies leadership and service. This year’s ceremony will also recognize four Outstanding Graduates for their exemplary achievements: Kimberly Howard, Logan Brewer, Hunter Harris and Frank Lowell.

OSUIT is proud to report that 58.8% of graduates are already employed or actively engaged in employment contract negotiations — a strong indication of post-graduation success.

Graduation guests will find designated parking near Covelle Hall, including spaces with accessibility accommodations. For special seating or parking needs, contact Hope Hubbard at 918-293-4942.

Official photography will be provided by Genesee Photo Systems; guests may pre-register for photos in advance. Accessibility services — including sign language interpretation and support for those with visual or hearing impairments — are available upon request.
