Tuesday, April 22, 2025

Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology celebrated its 230th graduating class on Friday, April 18, marking another milestone in its mission to deliver workforce-ready education to the state of Oklahoma.

More than 300 graduates crossed the stage at Covelle Hall, prepared to begin careers in essential industries across the region and beyond. These students represent the next generation of skilled professionals; trained and certified in programs ranging from information technologies to nursing, construction and energy systems.

The commencement ceremony underscored OSUIT’s commitment to its land-grant Mission: providing practical, life-changing education and service to the people of Oklahoma. With each class, the university helps bridge critical labor gaps and meet the evolving needs of employers statewide.

Chad Warmington, president and CEO of the State Chamber of Oklahoma, delivered the keynote address, offering insight into the role of career-ready graduates in driving economic growth and innovation across the state.

As part of OSU Polytech, OSUIT continues to lead in workforce development; graduating students who are not only job-ready but prepared to make an immediate impact in their chosen fields.
