Rob Johnson, State Senator and OSU alum receives Higher Education award

Oklahoma State University President Burn Hargis, left, joins Oklahoma State Chancellor of Higher Education Glen Johnson,right, in presenting State Senator Rob Johnson with the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education 2013 Distinguished Service Award. Senator Johnson received the award Tuesday, Dec. 10 during the Chancellor's visit to the OSU-Stillwater as part of his annual statewide legislative tour to Oklahoma college campuses. Senator Johnson, an OSU graduate, represents areas of Oklahoma and Canadian counties and serves as assistant majority whip in the Oklahoma State Senate. The award is given each year to individuals who demonstrate exceptional leadership and support to higher education during the Oklahoma legislative session.
