OSU Veterinary Students Support Josh and Friends Project

Thursday, January 29, 2015

Several veterinary students at Oklahoma State University’s Center for Veterinary Health Sciences recently worked with the Red Dirt Dog Agility Club to raise money for The Josh & Friends Project.  The Red Dirt Dog Agility Club donated $500 to The Josh & Friends Project in exchange for the students volunteering at the club’s latest agility trial.

Josh & Friends is a charity that provides care packages to children undergoing major procedures or in long-term hospital stays.  The care packages include a plush Josh retriever puppy and a hardback children’s book, I’ll Be O.K., which teaches children to remain brave during times of fear and uncertainty.

If you would like to make a donation to the OSU Center for Veterinary Health Sciences chapter of Josh & Friends, please email joshandfriendsproject@gmail.com or visit www.joshandfriends.com for more information.
