OSU hosts scholars examining cannabis industry

Nearly three dozen researchers from across the United States and Canada met in Oklahoma City Feb. 28 to explore legal, ethical and business issues confronting the nation’s rapidly expanding cannabis industry. The research symposium was the first organized by the new Center for Legal Studies & Business Ethics at Oklahoma State University.

The Center for Legal Studies & Business Ethics at Oklahoma State University’s Spears School of Business will host its first research symposium, "Legal, Ethical, and Compliance Issues in Emerging Markets: Cannabis in the States," Feb. 28-29 at the Skirvin Hilton in Oklahoma City.

OSU grad Wes Colwell to speak at Puterbaugh Ethics Lecture

Wes Colwell will be the featured speaker for the Puterbaugh Ethics Lecture Oct. 22 at Oklahoma State University’s Stillwater campus. Colwell is managing partner of Essentia Advisory Partners in Houston after previously serving as the chief accounting officer of Enron North America.
