The Oklahoma State University Museum of Art is pleased to announce Tradition Interrupted, an exhibition organized by Bedford Gallery to open the museum’s winter/spring season of programming.
Oklahoma artist Anita Fields (Osage/Muscogee) has been selected to receive the Women in the Arts Recognition Award from the Cimarron Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution.
On Aug. 23, “Small Worlds: Carolyn Cárdenas” and “Contradictions: Bobby Ross” will open at the Oklahoma State University Museum of Art, featuring 200-plus paintings and drawings chock-full of awe-inspiring artistic intricacy.
Many things slowed down during the pandemic, but acquisitions at the Oklahoma State University Museum of Art did not. Over the past few years, the museum has added hundreds of pieces to its growing permanent collection. It’s now set to display 22 of them in “Recent Acquisitions: From 2019-2021.”
