Risky business: Spears professor, doctoral alumni improve understanding of risk in entrepreneurship

Dr. Matthew Rutherford, a professor in the Spears Business School of Entrepreneurship, noticed the word “risk” often appears in business articles without a clear definition. He teamed up with Spears Business Ph.D. alumni to classify types of risk, helping scholars and entrepreneurs gain a common understanding of the concept.
