Petroleum Experts (Petex) has authorized the use of its MOVE software suite for academic purposes at Oklahoma State University, providing students and faculty in the Boone Pickens School of Geology with access to industry-leading geologic modeling tools.

Valued at $2,764,444.11, the MOVE software suite supports instruction, graduate education and research in structural geology, fault analysis, geomechanics, and carbon capture and storage. The software provides students and researchers with the same advanced modeling capabilities used throughout the energy industry.

The Boone Pickens School of Geology values its collaboration with Petex, which strengthens hands-on learning and supports cutting-edge geoscience research at Oklahoma State University.
