OSU researcher helps pursue cancer treatment breakthrough

The announcement last week that Oklahoma researchers have discovered a new cancer-fighting compound was universally praised, from all sectors of the news media to the American Cancer Society, for its potential to revolutionize cancer prevention and treatment. Darrell Berlin, Regents Professor of chemistry at Oklahoma State University, created the compound and collaborated with faculty at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center on its development.
