OSU undergrads show research at Capitol

Four undergraduate researchers from Oklahoma State University recently competed at the 15th Annual Research Day at the Capitol. Erin Roberts, an OSU Niblack Research Scholar, won third place in the research intensive category for her research of hormone influence. Other OSU students competing were Blake E. Morton, Wentz Scholar, on tobacco and diabetes; Lydia Meador, Niblack Research Scholar, on drought adaptations; and Lindsey Campbell, Wentz Scholar, on drug delivery.

Twenty one undergraduate students representing 15 Oklahoma colleges and universities presented competitive research posters to the State Legislature and the public during this annual event. Sponsored by Oklahoma EPSCoR, the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education and The National Science Foundation, the event is designed to bring about awareness of the outstanding research taking place in Oklahoma's colleges and universities.
