Jones receives Japanese commendation

OSU Professor Emeritus Larry D. Jones has received a formal commendation from the Japanese Foreign Ministry for more than 25 years of work to strengthening Japan-U.S. relations. For more details, click here.

Dr. Larry D. Jones and his wife Kayo prepare to cross Lake Ashi in Japan on a historic replica of the tall Japanese sailing ships. Jones calls his interaction with Japan and its culture “natural” since Kayo is a native of Japan and the couple have traveled there many times to visit her family and take part in sister cities activities.
