B.J. Smith artworks auction set for Saturday

More than 50 works of art from the personal estate of former Oklahoma State University Art Department faculty member B. J. Smith (1932-2012) are being auctioned to raise money to benefit the B.J. Smith Endowed Scholarship fund for students in the OSU Department of Art, Graphic Design and Art History.

A reception and display of the auctioned artworks is set for Saturday, Dec. 8, from 5-7 p.m. at the Gardiner Art Gallery at Oklahoma State University, with final bidding ending at 6:30 p.m.. To help jump-start the scholarship auction, it is possible to pre-bid on objects through this site now. Bids will continue to be received online until 6:25 p.m. on Dec. 8.
