This spring 23 undergraduate and 24 graduate students were inducted as members of Gamma Sigma Delta, the Honor Society of Agriculture by Oklahoma State University's Gamma Sigma Delta chapter. GSD's objective is to recognize the accomplishments of those engaged in all aspects of agriculture and related sciences. This society seeks to encourage high standards of scholarship and worthy achievements. Gamma Sigma Delta recognizes faculty members, alumnus and university supporters as well.

"Gamma Sigma Delta has a long and distinguished history of recognizing excellence in agriculture and all related disciplines," said Dr. Stephen Damron, Interim Assistant Dean, Academic Programs of the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources. "We are proud that College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources students, faculty and support personnel meet the high standards for recognition to this distinguished organization."

Membership to GSD includes recognition of outstanding achievement, expanded knowledge of agriculture and opportunity to participate and contribute to chapter activities. Membership to GSD is life long and the opportunity for making professional contacts is a major benefit.
