Wentz undergraduate research scholarships announced

Monday, May 7, 2012

Seventy-five Lew Wentz Foundation awards were granted to Oklahoma State University undergraduate students this spring. These awards were given on the basis of outstanding academic progress as well as leadership on campus and public service.

Thirty-eight of these awards were given for student designed research projects overseen by a mentor, worth $4,500 each. Twenty-eight leadership awards, worth $2,750 each, were given to students based on their grade point average, campus and community activities, an essay on Henry Bellmon or Lew Wentz, and a letter of recommendation. Nine nontraditional awards were also granted worth $750 and $1,500 each.
